MAKIACEA-65When selecting1]Load coefficientSelect the load coefficient from the loadcoefficient table according to the operatingconditions, such as the type of load, operatingtime, start-stop frequency and whether or notthe load fluctuates dramatically. Find theequivalent input capacity or the equivalentoutput torque for your needs.2]Thermal rated capacityIf you are working at over 40 degrees, pleasecontact us.3]Overhang load3-1)What is overhang load (OHL)?The overhang load is the suspended load actingon the output shaft. It should always beconsidered when selecting speed reducers.Normally, the value resulting from dividing theload torque by the radius of the rotating body(sprocket, pulley, and so on) is considered to bethe overhang load (OHL).。3-2)Calculation of the equivalent allowable overhang loadThe acceptable overhang load value shown in thecatalog is calculated on the assumption the loadis acting on the center of the LS dimensionshown for the output shaft. Therefore, when thepoint where the load is applied is not in the centerof the LS dimension, the acceptable value in thecatalog will not be correct. Find the equivalentallowable overhang load using the formula and thetable given in the selection procedure.3-3)Overhang load coefficientWhen a speed reducer and a driven machine aredriven indirectly, select the overhang loadcoefficient from the separate table according tothe type of connection, and then find theoverhang load.Type Number SelectionNote-1: Since it is also necessary to check strength of theunit depending on the frequency of use, please contact us.Find the equivalent input capacity, Pe (kW) from the actual output torque, Pa(kW)Pe=Sf・PaFind the equivalent output torque, Te(N･m) from the actual output torque, Ta(N-m)Te=Sf・Taa.Method found from the input capacityb.Method found from the output torqueUniformloading0.901.001.25Medium Shock loading1.001.251.50Heavy shock loading1.251.501.75Uniform loading1.001.251.50Medium Shock loading1.251.501.75Heavy Shock loading1.501.752.00Unidirectional rotation1.251.501.75Forward/Reverse rotation1.501.752.00Continuous operation When starting and stopping occurs 10times or more in one hour (Note1)When the load fluctuates dramatically suchas when using mixers and thickenersUp to 2 hoursUp to 10 hoursUp to 24 hoursOperationalconditions LoadConditionsOperating time2.Load coefficient selection of SFType of loadOperating timeType number selection procedureWith the following procedure, please select type turn.Determination of the selection specifications3.Calculation of the equivalent capacity1.Reduction ratioR= input shaft rotation speed n1output shaft rotation speed n24.Provisional selection of a type numberTemporarily select the type number that corresponds to Pe or Te from the performance table.Load coefficient table
